Inspired by the heroic deeds of legendary Italian cyclist Gino Bartali, this animated film follows two boys—David, a Jewish teenager, and Ibrahim, his Arab friend—who bond over their shared love of cycling in the Middle East.

Set 60 years after Bartali’s efforts to save Jews during WWII by smuggling documents in his bicycle, the story centers on the boys’ daring attempt to win a cycling championship together, breaking societal rules but promoting peace and unity between their rival communities.
